Country music has risen to the top of the Make A Star charts this month as Kentucky singer Vernon Lee Moore wins the latest Music Video contest for the clip of his song ‘Booneville’.
A track from Vernon Lee Moore’s debut album Southeast Kentucky Blues, ‘Booneville’ is just one of his many heartfelt songs that tell beautiful stories. Music video director Curt Edwards is a huge fan of Vernon’s music and said “it was an honor and pleasure to be able to put this video together for Vernon and his family.” Southeast Kentucky Blues is currently available on iTunes.
The song tells the story of Vernon’s mamaw in a hospital in Cincinnati on her last days wishing she was still in the natural beauty of the Kentucky mountains. The video clip was shot on location on the Moore family farm and makes great artistic use of old 8mm home movie footage back when the farm was still lived on by the family.
Curt Edwards heads MidnightStar Video Productions, a Louisville, Kentucky based video production company focusing on music with a love for Americana, Blues, Metal, Rock, Funk/R&B/Soul, and Roots music.
