Stu 'Megablast' wins Music Video contest. Stu is an electro musician from Basel, Switzerland who has earned his name “Don Atari Electro” by years of crunchy beats for dance floors and low-tech music lovers worldwide. He became well-known due to his ways of tweaking the very limited sound chip of the Atari ST to a completely different level. The music video for his song 'Megablast' comes from St. Petersburg, Russia design and flash animation studio Toondra. The video follows the retro video-game aesthetic of Stu's music perfectly.

Sherrie Erickson wins Female Solo Artist. Sherrie Erickson is a singer/songwriter/guitarist from British Columbia, Canada. At age eight, Sherrie’s father placed his guitar in her lap and taught her the basics. From there she became an active part of a family of singers and musicians harmonizing with her mother and sisters. She has performed with her parents at weddings, churches, and fairs. As a singer/songwriter, stay-at-home mom she has been through the joys and difficulties of marriage, motherhood, mortgages, and life in general, she uses these experiences as inspiration for many of her songs.
Her song "Happy" has been a big hit in the October Favorite Song by a Female Solo Artist contest on talent and competition website MakeAStar.com. A cut from her debut CD Songs From My Sofa, "Happy" is described as "one of the fun songs" on the album, which covers themes from Sherrie’s personal life experiences. Sherrie says the song is about "how we tend to compare ourselves to what others have and try to keep up with them."
