MAS: Congratulations! Dov Alperin- Winner of the Song-Male Solo Artist April 2010. Tell us how you got started as a singer and how your recording career began.
Dov: I started singing at a very young age. I wound up writing my first song, entitled “I Don’t Care” when I was 13. Finally got into a recording studio back in the year 2000, when I was 19 for the first recording of “I Don’t Care”
MAS: Sounds like music comes very naturally to you. How did you develop your sound and are you the primary songwriter?
Dov: I am the primary songwriter and I developed my sound from a mixture of my favorite guitarist David Broza (From Israel), a lot of other Israeli Artists, as well as The Beatles.
